So I have ticked off one of my "to-do's" on my summer bucket list .
The jam I made was old fashioned raspberry jam, using this recipe. Every summer my Nan would make raspberry jam, using berries grown in her garden. My Nan passed away nearly 3 years ago, and I miss her and her homemade jam, so I made this jam in memory of my lovely lovely Nan, and I hope that she would be proud!
Here are some photos of the jam process and the finished product...
the ingredients (and some homegrown spinach not included in the jam of course!)
mashing the raspberries
stirring in the sugar to make a syrup like mixture
jarring the jam

all the jars of jam
ready to eat!
I used fresh raspberries bought from the local farmers market and caster sugar.
